Essex Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s most significant conservation charities.
EWT were keen to examine ways in which to engage with its visitors and donors in a more innovative way, so it asked Simon Thorp Consulting to run a pilot to test the use of several social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Linked In.
Following a successful pilot running for several months, and gathering a substantial amount of data and insight, EWT were able to refocus the activities of their marketing team to place greater emphasis on social media.
