Destination Performance UK co-ordinates activity between many of the UK’s largest tourist offices, all of which are government managed and funded.

DPUK asked Simon Thorp Consulting to prepare a fact sheet for members on the use of social media as a marketing tool.

Following on from this, we also ran several high level training sessions for senior staff, designed to provide the knowledge on the benefits and practicalities of using social media in order to more cost effectively communicate, and engage with, users of local authority tourist office services.
