International Partnerships...

I welcome enquiries from both prospective clients outside the UK, and also from potential partner organisations whose work could complement mine. 

I am a member of British Expertise. British Expertise is the leading UK private sector organisation for British companies offering professional services internationally. Member companies range from large general consultancies to specialist individuals like me.   British Expertise introduces members to key British and international contacts; it identifies potential partners and clients, and offers market intelligence and training. Its events offer excellent networking. British Expertise lobbies the British Government, the international financing institutions and others in its members’ interests.   It has a reputation for responsive, professional and highly efficient services to members.   My background also includes significant experience in the not-for-profit consulting sector with British Executive Service Overseas (BESO), a charity funded by UK government's Department for International Development (DFID).  

BESO was committed to providing mentoring skills to businesses in the least developed communities worldwide.   We worked globally, particularly in Africa, South Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean.  Some of our work was funded by international institutions such as private companies, donors and banks such as World Bank, USAID and EBRD. I have, for example, been involved in assignments and programmes delivering measurable positive change to organisations in Bolivia (zookeeping), Galapagos (conservation), Russia (Peter the Great Way), Ukraine (Cold War Museum, Balaklava), Brazil (eco lodges), Zambia (sustainable horticulture) and Nepal (Sherpa mountaineering museums and hotel infrastructure).
